This is the Rotacubes puzzle, a collaboration between me and Oskar van Deventer. Nobody could make out how this one worked from pictures/text descriptions, so here's a video.

Do you happen to know what proportion of the 331776 possible positions can be reached from the start position?

How are you prototyping these? They look *really* good for prototypes - especially the gears one.

George is using a Dimension 3d printer. I'm not sure the exact model number, but it's one of the ones which supports soluble support material.
